About

Angela Beasley www.stickystarfish.comSticky Starfish, Inc. is a Internet marketing company aimed at helping small or new business owners maximize their earning potential through both online and offline mediums.

Sticky Starfish, Inc. was founded by Internet marketer Angela R. Beasley on November, 9, 2009 and Incorporated on April 14, 2010.  Along with her years of experience in direct and print marketing, Angela will complete her bachelor’s degree in Internet marketing from Full Sail University in November of this year.

The name “Sticky Starfish” originates from the ideology of starfish organizations.  Unlike spider organizations that can be conquered by decapitation (cutting off of or destroying the head i.e., president, CEO, owner, etc.) or crippled through loss of appendages (VP’s, COO’s, managers or other members), certain species of starfish are able to regenerate entire bodies (new organizations) from a severed limb due to decentralized major organs that are replicated throughout each arm.

The “sticky” in Sticky Starfish  refers to stickiness as it pertains to Internet marketing terminology.  According to Marketingterms.com, “stickiness” is, “The amount of time spent at a site over a given time period.”  A sticky web site is one that is informative, memorable, easy to navigate, and keeps users interested in its content.

For more information on starfish organizations read The Starfish and the Spider:  The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations by Ori Brafman and Rod A. Beckstrom.  It is a great book!
